1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the EquitablesBank platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable financial regulations. These terms govern our escrow services, including real estate, digital assets, and fraud recovery operations.
2. Description of Escrow Service
EquitablesBank acts as an independent third-party fiduciary.
Role: We hold funds in a secure, licensed escrow account until specific contract conditions are satisfied.
Verification: We facilitate the secure handling of domain transfers, software source code, and international trade assets.
Independence: We do not represent the buyer or the seller; we represent the integrity of the agreement itself.
3. The Escrow Process & Fund Disbursement
Deposit: The buyer must deposit funds into a designated EquitablesBank account.
Inspection Period: A defined timeframe is allowed for the buyer to verify the goods or services delivered by the seller.
Release of Funds: Disbursement occurs only upon explicit confirmation from the buyer or the completion of verified milestones.
Protected Review: If a transaction is flagged for suspicious activity, funds enter a "protected review" phase and remain restricted until compliance checks are cleared.
4. Fraud Funds & Dispute Resolution
Controlled Handling: EquitablesBank provides review and recovery support for funds flagged as fraudulent or disputed.
Dispute Holding: In the event of a disagreement, funds will be held in escrow until a mutual agreement is reached, an arbitrator makes a decision, or a legal ruling is issued.
Chargeback Prevention: Users agree not to initiate chargebacks through external banks while a transaction is in our "protected review" phase.
5. Prohibited Activities
Users are strictly prohibited from using EquitablesBank for:
Money Laundering: Any attempt to hide the origin of funds.
Identity Theft: Providing false personal or financial details.
Illegal Assets: Transacting in assets that violate intellectual property laws or international trade regulations.
